Description
A woman comes to the US from Latin America to escape her shady past, only to fall into new shadows. A stint in adult entertainment leads to her marriage to a drug lord whose son, Gorgo, secretly watches over her like a guardian angel. Danger and corruption (and sex, of course) drive the first half of this story. Then, in an Adaptation-style meta-twist, this sexy pulp tale is revealed to be the B-movie film adaptation of the life story of Maria, a familiar character to Love and Rockets fans, played by her daughter, the equally beloved Luba.
